i am falling in love with the illustrations of Spanish artist Gabriel Moreno and here is the reason why: the hair.
it is more then just the hair that draws me to Moreno’s work, but it the intricate detail of it that keeps my eye engaged. And his use of line to build texture, depth and flow makes me more then a little jealous.

if you haven’t noticed, I love detail and Moreno’s illustrations have plenty of it.
his pieces with the silhouettes that morph into butterflies & animals are brilliant. He isn’t afraid of adding more detail and ink to his drawings.
and that is why I am in love with these.
